Two years ago I blogged about the high need for Faith Alive Clinic to have a new generator. Just today, a massive gen made its way from storage in front of a new building to inside the courtyard. “See, we African men are strong,” one of the young movers told me as he flexed his muscles. “Not like America where you need a machine to do the work. We can do it.” Once the gen’s connected, it will power all the Faith Alive facilities—main hospital, social services center, and now the new building.
